My professional experiences taught me to listen deeply to everyone’s unique story. It’s the only way to connect with the person who still lives inside the dementia patient. It’s the only way to truly honor the life he or she has lived.
I am a wife, mother, and daughter who is based in Atlanta, GA. I work with individuals and families around the country. I also educate community groups and speak to organizations about end of life care and approaches to dementia.
I have learned that people with dementia and people nearing the end of life, live in the moment in a way that most of us do not. To me, it is a privilege to join their journey.
My work as Memory Care Director in a large assisted living facility led me to pursue a different approach to aging, dementia, and terminal illness.
I believe there is still life to be lived until the last breath!
Let me help you and your loved one navigate the end-of-life journey with realism, grace, and self-direction.
Yes, it is possible!
